Atlanta Custom Double Sided Privacy Fences
Privacy fences offer many benefits to homeowners over other types of fencing. With a privacy fence, you are able to customize the fence to achieve the look you want more so than with other types of material. Another obvious benefit is the seclusion and security a privacy fence can offer to your property. A well-maintained privacy fence will continue to look beautiful and last for years to come, and it’s often easy to replace individual components of a privacy fence if one does happen to break down. If you’re in the market for a privacy fence in Atlanta, Accent Fence is the fence contractor to call. We’re the only fence company in the entire state to receive the AFA Blue Ribbon Contractor recognition, and one of only a handful of fence companies in Georgia with a CFP (Certified Fence Professional) on staff reviewing every job. If quality craftsmanship is one of your primary concerns when choosing a fencing contractor in Atlanta, you’ve come to the right place.
Double Sided Privacy Fence Contractors
There are times where customers ask us about installing a privacy fence in Atlanta that looks good on both sides. While we think they all look good on both sides, we understand the sentiment – there are times you want a fence that has a finished look both inside and out. For that purpose, Accent Fence installs several types of privacy fences that achieve this look. The most basic way to install a double sided fence is by building what is referred to as a shadow box fence, or a “good neighbor fence.” This fence looks identical on both sides, but it’s important to remember it does not achieve total privacy. It does provide full privacy when looking at it straight-on, but it is possible to see through this type of fence at an angle. For customers wanting a fully private double-sided fence in Atlanta, we install several types of capped privacy fences that, while not identical on both sides, do have a finished look inside and out. This can be accomplished by insetting the framing between the posts, building an x-braced frame, or one of several other options.
Double Sided Privacy Fence Experts in Atlanta
With all of the privacy fences we build, Accent Fence takes extra steps to ensure your fence is of the highest quality possible. At Accent Fence, we offer expert installation of both pressure treated pine and western red cedar privacy fences, and we use the correct nails for each, not just what’s on sale that week. As recommended by the nail manufacturers, we use hot dipped galvanized nails for pine privacy fences and aluminum nails for cedar. We also frame all of our gates, whether the fence is made of pine or cedar, with cedar framing. While this is more expensive for us when we purchase materials, cedar is durable yet lightweight, and will cause less strain on the gate hardware as the years go by, meaning our gates are much less likely to sag than a gate framed in pine. We also concrete every post, with each post installed roughly 2 feet in the ground for maximum stability. We care deeply about the quality of the privacy fences we install, and we want to make sure you know that when you choose to contract with Accent Fence, you can expect unparalleled quality and craftsmanship, and a privacy fence that will last for years to come.
