Post and Rail Fence

Post and rail fencing, sometimes known as board fencing or horse fence, is one of the more versatile types of fence we install. Many homeowners appreciate the rustic look this fence gives, and when constructed properly, this fence can be used to contain pets, children, or simply add aesthetic appeal to your home. At Accent Fence, we construct our post and rail fencing with true 5/4″ pressure treated pine boards for added durability. We custom-build everything on-site, and can install your fence with either 4×4, 4×6, or 6×6 pressure treated pine posts. When keeping in family pets is a concern, we can add 2×4 welded wire, in either galvanized or black options, to make sure there are no spaces where a dog or cat can easily escape. Lastly, we place cover boards over the posts to hide the seams and give your fence a truly finished look. Many homeowners then choose to stain the fence with a color of their choosing once the lumber has dried out. This will protect the wood from potentially warping, and will also help slow down the process of fading that occurs over time from exposure to the sun. And as with every fence constructed by Accent Fence, you’re covered by our 1 year installation warranty, which covers any workmanship defects with the fence.
