As President of Accent Fence, I'm proud to lead a team that exemplifies our core values of delivering value, quality and exceptional customer service. Our dedication to these principles instills a strong sense of pride and excellence within our team.
My path to Accent Fence began after a 30-year career in pharmacy, including 20 years as a retail pharmacy owner. Purchasing Accent Fence with my son was a long-held aspiration, allowing us to delve into the construction field and build a family-run business with a focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Outside of work, I am a dedicated husband and father of three. I enjoy boating, fishing, and traveling, and I've had the pleasure of visiting all 50 states.
Jared Meyer is the Vice President at Accent Fence, where he leads operations in logistics, inventory management, and personnel development. With a strong background in logistics and extensive experience in the fencing industry, Jared is instrumental in driving the company's success.
Jared's career began with a four-year tenure as a logistics expert in the Marine Corps, where he received numerous awards for exceptional leadership and job performance. This experience provided him with a disciplined, strategic approach to operations, which he applies effectively at Accent Fence. His role involves optimizing inventory systems and streamlining logistical processes, resulting in significant improvements in efficiency and cost management.
Jared is known for his focus on fostering teamwork and mentoring staff, creating an inclusive environment that empowers team members to excel. His leadership style emphasizes setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and recognizing achievements, all of which contribute to a motivated and high-performing team.
Additionally, Jared has been nominated to the Board of the Georgia American Fence Association, highlighting his commitment to advancing the fencing industry. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, outdoor activities, and playing golf.
CloseTaylor Bassett, the General Manager of Accent Fence, hails from Houston, Texas. A Marine Corps veteran and cancer survivor, Taylor brings a wealth of experience and resilience to the team. With nine years in the fence industry and a CAGSD certification as a gate systems designer, Taylor is dedicated to continuous learning and excellence. Taylor's goal is to ensure that every customer receives the best possible experience. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with family, including spouse Kendall Bassett and their two dogs. Their hobbies include gardening, cooking, exploring history, and enjoying nature.
Jeff is a Georgia Native and comes to Accent Fence with a degree in Operations Management that includes 18 years of experience in warehousing, purchasing and logistics in the distribution and manufacturing Industries. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys eating new foods, watching college football and soccer as well as being outdoors.
With over 45 years of experience in the fence industry, Kenny Ritchie is a seasoned professional known for his expertise and dedication. For the past 24 years, he has been a key member of the Accent Fence team, where he has excelled as both an installer and project manager, delivering high-quality results and ensuring client satisfaction on every project. Outside of work, Kenny is a proud dog dad to Beth and Rip and is a die-hard Georgia Bulldog fan, bringing the same passion to his personal life as he does to his profession.
Matthew Wendland is from Albany, Georgia
Matt's favorite part about being in the fence industry is developing personal relationships with customers while creating solutions for any problems they may be facing. He does not shy away from a challenge!
Matt has three brothers and when he's not with customers, you'll find him going on adventures with his dog Tucker.
Nathan was born in England and moved to Georgia when he way 2 years old. His passion is animals and nature. When not spending time with his cat, Nathan can be found playing video games, reading books, or watching something on YouTube. Nathan has over a decade of experience in operations and logistics. His favorite part of this job is the variety and challenges that every day brings.
Thom Posey was raised in the Atlanta area having been here since 1969 after his father retired from the military. Thom went to school locally having graduated from Georgia State University.
Thom has worked in the corporate world for over forty years where he acquired invaluable management skills and knowledge. He has brought that experience to Accent Fence. Thom enjoys his work in the fence industry especially assisting new home owners with fencing solutions that fit their needs.
When Thom is not working, he enjoys spending his spare time with his three grandkids. You may also find him on a golf course in the local area.
Yeffry moved to the United States from the Dominican Republic at the age of 21. He became a US citizen 7 years later. Yeffrey loves the fence industry and has taken the lead on building orders in the warehouse and learned to repair fences and gates. He is always willing to help the company in any way possible. He is married and a proud father of two adorable daughters. He loves singing and photography. Yeffry can be found most weekends at Church singing and photographing church events.
Kayla Turner is a dedicated and experienced office manager with a robust background in law enforcement and customer service. With a career spanning over 17 years, she has honed her skills in organizational management, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
At 32 years old, Kayla seamlessly balances her professional responsibilities with her role as a mother to her three children: two sons and one daughter. Her commitment to both her career and family life is a testament to her strong work ethic and organizational prowess.
A Georgia native, Kayla is an avid supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs and finds relaxation and joy in spending time at the lake. Her family and her cat, MJ, are central to her life, reflecting her close-knit family values.
In her role as an office manager, Kayla excels in creating a productive and positive work environment. Her experience in law enforcement has endowed her with a unique perspective on teamwork, discipline, and strategic planning, making her an invaluable asset to our team.
